When the sun shines everything’s glorious . . .

I spent the afternoon sourcing materials for a client’s invitation . . . and got caught up photographing some of the tempting seating options (and more) at Ravenna Gardens. Feel free to sit down and relax a moment.

Captured some lush flora (no fauna, unless you count my daily photo of Miss Winnie Cooper) with my trusty iphone as well. When the sun shines in Seattle everything becomes even more glorious than usual. These hydrangeas reminded me of my mom, Audrey, who would have celebrated her 85th birthday today. Her favorite flowering plants were lilacs, but I think she’d have liked these as well . . . and for sure she would have adored Miss Cooper!
